No Experience? No Problem!
Our class is perfect for those with limited experience. Our specialty is working with new gun owners!
Class starts promptly at 9 AM and you will be greeted with fresh coffee (regular and Michigan Cherry) and a wide variety of snacks that are accessible all day. You will receive multiple breaks throughout the day, including a period for lunch.
Instruction will begin with a brief introduction followed by basic firearms instruction and defensive use of firearms that takes place through two segments. This will focus on firearms operation, grip, stance, trigger control, sight alignment, and correction of common marksmanship mistakes. After these segments, I will set up an in-class virtual range where we will go through all the shooting drills covered in the live-fire segment.
Live fire takes place at “The Firing Line” gun range where you will qualify for the shooting portion by firing 50 rounds of live ammo. Immediately after the live-fire segment, you will receive a minimum of 30 minutes to get lunch and we will meet back at the classroom to continue your training.
After lunch, we will cover keeping yourself safe in public and in your home and most importantly, keeping yourself safe from an aggressive prosecutor! Finally, we will go over how to apply for your CPL, renewals, everyday police encounters, pistol free zones, and much more…
